A Week In The Barn. Just the Right Mix of Learning and Fun!
For some riders, camp is a chance to discover horses for the very first time. For others, it’s a week spent doing what they already love riding, learning and building friendships alongside peers who share the same passion. No matter where a rider is on their journey, camp offers time well spent immersed in the barn.
Our camps are designed to be fun, supportive and engaging for children ages 3–12. Campers are grouped by age level, allowing each rider to grow at their own pace while gaining confidence in a safe, encouraging environment. Camps are also a great option for families or friends who want to attend together and share the experience.
Each day includes riding lessons tailored to the rider’s skill level, along with hands-on learning in horse safety, grooming and ground skills. Horse-themed crafts, games and barn activities round out the week, creating a balance of learning, laughter and connection.
No prior riding experience is required. Our instructors ensure every camper feels supported and successful whether it’s their first time in the saddle or an opportunity to build on existing skills.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with extended care options available for a small fee. Most importantly, camp is a place where curiosity is encouraged, confidence grows and riders strengthen their connection to horses – all within the supportive community that defines The Select Journey.
